Everything You Need to Build AI From the Start
Trusted packages, models, environments, and agentic AI development all in one workspace, connected to the tools you already use.
Leave the AI Assembly Tax Behind
Every new AI project starts with the same tax: hunting packages, picking models, configuring environments, waiting on access, before the real work even begins. The best AI ideas shouldn't stall in the setup phase.
The Cost of Manual Assembly
- Every hour spent hunting packages or rebuilding environments is an hour stolen from the idea that excited you in the first place.
- That tax compounds. Builders still stitching things together by hand this year are the ones explaining late ships next year.
- Manual assembly doesn’t just cost time. It costs momentum — the thing that gets your best ideas built first.
Start With the Idea, Not the Setup
Explore new models. Work in the tools you already prefer. Build alongside AI agents without rebuilding your foundation every time. Open-source innovation you can access, use, and trust.

Now Build Alongside AI
Development is getting more agentic. Kilo brings AI-powered coding right into your workspace, next to the packages, models, and tools you already use.
- 5M+ developers
- 500+ models
- Works in VS Code, JetBrians, and the Kilo CLI
One Workspace. Every Way to Build.
Trusted building blocks, environments, AI tools, and ecosystem connections — everything you need to turn ideas into working AI, fast.
Start With the Trusted Building Blocks You Need
Stop rebuilding your foundation. Immediately access approved packages, environments and models without waiting for review.
- Packages: Curated, vetted open-source packages with managed dependency, vulnerability data, and provenance.
- Environments: Reproducible from dev to production, so they work everywhere.
- Models: Curated ecosystem models with the visibility teams need to trust them.
Build Where You Work Best
AI development isn’t confined to one interface. Work from the tools that fit your team and projects
- Builders choose how they work across: Desktop, CLI, Notebooks, Cloud Workstations, IDEs
- Anaconda provides the consistent, governed foundation underneath.
Turn Intent Into Working Code Faster
AI development is fragmented. Build using AI assistance, visual workflows and governed access.
- Kilo: Your AI teammate that plans, builds, debugs, and iterates with you.
- MCP: Connects any agent to the tools and data it needs, with governed, auditable access.
Build on an AI Ecosystem You’ve Already Chosen
Your AI strategy shouldn’t be locked to any one tool. AI Workspaces connects to your preferred ecosystem while keeping work within policy and easily evolving as your requirements change.
- Cloud & Compute: AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, NVIDIA
- Data & AI Platforms: Databricks, Snowflake
- Developer Tools: VS Code, JetBrains, Jupyter, GitHub, GitLab
- Models & AI: Open models, Model providers, AI frameworks
Builder Freedom Shouldn't Create Enterprise Risk
As you move faster and AI agents take on more work, your org needs to trust what’s being used, where it came from, and how it’s managed.
Without a consistent and trusted foundation, speed unleashes shadow tools, environment drift, security blind spots, and uncontrolled AI usage.
Move Fast on an Open Foundation You Can Trust
Give builders freedom to choose the models, tools and workflows that fit their work within enterprise policy.
Know what’s in your stack and who can touch it. No waiting on security or governance to greenlight every step. Pick your tools. Trust the foundation underneath.
Less Assembly, More AI
Spend less time searching, configuring and connecting. Spend more time building trusted AI.

AI Workspaces Frequently Asked Questions
Can my team use the IDEs and tools they already have?
Yes. AI Workspaces meets your developers where they already work — no new execution model, no forced migration. Your team keeps VS Code, JupyterLab, PyCharm, and Spyder. Anaconda Navigator launches these and manages environments without touching the command line: point your IDE at the Python interpreter inside your conda environment, and your packages and dependencies follow. Quick-Start Environments eliminate setup conflicts with a single command, so developers are coding in minutes.
How do policy filters work, and who can use them?
Policy filters let administrators automatically restrict which packages are available in a channel, based on CVE score, CVE status, license type, platform architecture, and package name — no manual review needed every time a new vulnerability is reported. Once applied, a policy runs on every mirror update, so only compliant packages ever reach your developers. Available on Business or Custom plans.
What's the difference between an AI-BOM and an SBOM?
An SBOM (Software Bill of Materials) lists every package and dependency in your software supply chain — the same standard used across the software industry. An AI-BOM extends that same idea to AI-specific artifacts: models, datasets, and their versions, licenses, and provenance. AI Workspaces generates both automatically, so you get one auditable record of everything running — code, models, and data alike.
Who is AI Workspaces for?
Platform and engineering leaders who own the environment other teams build in, security and compliance teams who have to evidence what’s running, and the builders themselves. Platform teams get one governed source. Security gets SBOMs and CVE tracking without chasing developers. Builders keep the tools they already use.
