Continuum Analytics Welcomes Mathew Lodge as SVP Products and Marketing

Former VMware VP Joins Anaconda’s Executive Leadership Team to Help Accelerate Data Science Adoption across the Enterprise

AUSTIN, TEXAS—August 24, 2017—Continuum Analytics, the company behind Anaconda, the leading Python data science platform, today announced Mathew Lodge as the company’s new senior vice president (SVP) of products and marketing. Lodge brings extensive experience to the B2B product space––including software and SaaS––to help the company further expand adoption of Anaconda across the enterprise.

Mathew Lodge comes from Weaveworks, a container and microservices start-up, where he was the chief operating officer. Previously, he was vice president in VMware’s Cloud Services group; notably he was co-founder for what became its vCloud Air IaaS service. Early in his career, Lodge built compilers and distributed systems for projects like the International Space Station, helped connect six countries to the Internet for the first time and managed a $630M product line at Cisco. Lodge holds a Master of Engineering from University of York, where he graduated with honors.
