A service account is a set of credentials (client ID and client secret) that allows you to manage your organization programmatically by enabling you to authenticate to the Anaconda.com organization management API. Only administrators can create service accounts. You can create as many service accounts per organization as you need. However, Anaconda recommends limiting the number of service accounts to no more than is absolutely necessary. Restricting the number of service accounts enhances your organization’s security posture. For more information, see Managing your organization using the API.
