# Anaconda.org release notes

  * The `anaconda` channel is now correctly tagged as "Anaconda Verified".
  * Platform naming (for example, `macOS-64` vs. `osx-64`) is now more consistent across the **Overview** tab, **Files** tab, and search filters.
  * Verification badges on package cards in search and on the landing page now display tooltips that are consistent with other views.
  * Active tabs are now visually highlighted on the Search results and Package Details pages.
  * Install commands now update correctly when you select different package versions from the dropdown.
  * Search results now display an accurate result count when querying certain package names as an anonymous user.
  * Description summary and license information now persist correctly when switching between package versions on Package Details pages.

        Anaconda.org currently has two version numbers: one displayed in the old user interface and one in the new user interface. This will be corrected in subsequent releases.

  * Improved the design for the package metadata dialog, which can be opened by selecting the info icon beside a package file row in package file lists.
  * Fixed an issue where selecting **Dashboard** > **View** > **Landscape** would redirect users to the website's main landing page instead of the user dashboard.

  * Selecting the Anaconda.org site logo now always opens [the Anaconda.org homepage](https://anaconda.org), instead of the user dashboard.
  * Added "Last 6 months" to the Downloads chart on all package details pages.
  * In the Downloads chart, the line for the currently selected version is now bolded, so users can more clearly see which line is their current selection.
  * Users can now open the following in new pages using either CTRL+Click or right-click options: the packages cards in search, the **Files** tab, the **Labels** tab, and the **Badges** tab.
  * The About section on the package details page now lists platforms as Supported and Unsupported, where applicable.
  * Fixed an issue where the Last Updated timestamp on package details pages was not properly updating when different package versions were selected.
  * Fixed an issue where the 100 text in the "items per page" selection was cut off.
  * Tab titles now properly display package names instead of "Anaconda.org".
  * Improved the visibility of long version numbers on package details pages.
  * Updated Anaconda.org sign in. Users can now log in using any of the following:
    * their Anaconda.org username and password
    * their Anaconda account credentials
    * a linked Google, Microsoft, or GitHub account

        <Warning>
          Users should *not* set usernames and passwords for non-interactive CI/CD flows using `--username` and `--password`, as this is deprecated. They should instead use [tokens](/tools/anaconda-org/admin-guide/tokens).

          Enterprise Single Sign-On and Single Sign-On users should sign in through SSO only. Attempts with username and password will not be accepted.
