# outerbounds flowproject delete-metadata

The `delete-metadata` subcommand deletes the flowproject metadata record for a project branch.

## Usage

```sh theme={null}
outerbounds flowproject delete-metadata --id <PROJECT/BRANCH> [OPTIONS]
```

## Options

      <GCell>Skip the confirmation prompt.</GCell>
    </GRow>

      <GCell>`--output <FORMAT>`</GCell>
      <GCell>Output format: `json` or human-readable. Defaults to human-readable.</GCell>

## Examples

outerbounds flowproject delete-metadata --id fraud_detection/feature-v2 --yes
```

<Warning>
  This removes the metadata record only. It does not delete workflow templates, assets, or apps. Use [teardown-branch](/docs/platform/guides/projects/utilities-api/cli/flowproject/teardown-branch) to remove all resources.
