# DeployedApp.scale_to_zero

DeployedApp.scale_to_zero()
```

Scale the app down to zero replicas.

This stops all running workers while preserving the app configuration.
The app can be scaled back up by sending traffic to the public URL
(if autoscaling is configured) or by redeploying.

**Examples:**

```python theme={null}
# Scale down to save resources
deployed.scale_to_zero()
```
