# Profile management

This topic provides guidance on managing your Anaconda.com account.

## Accessing your profile

To view your profile at any time:

1. [Sign in to Anaconda.com](https://auth.anaconda.com/ui/login?return_to=https://anaconda.com/app/).
2. Open the user dropdown menu and select <Icon icon="user" iconType="regular" /> *Account Settings*.

## Changing your account email address

<Note>
  Users that log in with Single Sign-On (SSO) are not able to change their email address.
</Note>

To update the email address associated with your account:

1. [Sign in to Anaconda.com](https://auth.anaconda.com/ui/login?return_to=https://anaconda.com/app/).
2. Open the user dropdown menu and select <Icon icon="user" iconType="regular" /> *Account Settings*.
3. In the **Email** section, enter your new email and current password.
4. Click **Change Email**.

## Updating your account password

<Note>
  Enterprise customers that log in with their company's Single Sign-On (SSO) provider are not able to update their password.

The instructions to update your account password are different depending on how you log in:

    2. Open the user dropdown menu and select <Icon icon="user" iconType="regular" /> *Account Settings*.
    3. In the **Password** section, enter your current password, new password, and new password confirmation.
    4. Click **Change Password**.

    1. [Sign in to Anaconda.com](https://auth.anaconda.com/ui/login?return_to=https://anaconda.com/app/).
    2. Open the user dropdown menu and select <Icon icon="user" iconType="regular" /> *Account Settings*.
    3. In the **Password** section, click the **Set or change your password** link.
    4. Check your email for the password reset email.
    5. Click the password reset link in your email.
    6. Enter a new password for your account.

## Updating your personal/company information

To update your personal and/or company information:

1. [Sign in to Anaconda.com](https://auth.anaconda.com/ui/login?return_to=https://anaconda.com/app/).
2. Open the user dropdown menu and select <Icon icon="user" iconType="regular" /> *Account Settings*.
3. In the **Profile** section, update your information.
4. Click **Update Profile**.

## Adding a profile picture

You can use [Gravatar](https://gravatar.com/) to upload a profile picture for your account. Creating a Gravatar account is free. This profile picture will be linked to your email.

To set your profile picture:

1. Log in to Gravatar and select **Avatars** from the left-hand navigation.
2. Select either **Upload** or **Camera** to provide an image for your profile.
3. Size and crop your image as needed.
4. Click **Done**.
5. Click your new avatar to add it to your account.

  You might need to refresh your Anaconda.com browser tab for your changes to take effect.

## Managing marketing email preferences

To manage the emails you receive from Anaconda about updates, new resources, product updates, and special events within our community:

1. [Sign in to Anaconda.com](https://auth.anaconda.com/ui/login?return_to=https://anaconda.com/app/).
2. Open the user dropdown menu and select <Icon icon="user" iconType="regular" /> *Account Settings*.
3. Click **Privacy & Security**.
4. Click **Manage Email Preferences**.
5. Enter your name and email information in the fields provided.
6. Select the checkbox for the mailers you are interested in receiving.
7. Click **Update My Preferences**.

   <Note>
     If you do not want to receive marketing emails from Anaconda, select the **Unsubscribe from all marketing emails** option.

## Accessing your personal data

You can request access to your personal data at any time. To do this:

1. Go to the [Anaconda Privacy Center](https://legal.anaconda.com/policies/en/?modal=take-control).
2. In the dialog that appears, click **Download all my data**.
3. Enter your email address and click *Send Email*.
4. Use the link in the email you receive to log in to the Anaconda Privacy Center.
5. Click **Confirm Request** to request a copy of your personal data.

## Deleting your personal data

<Warning>
  Enterprise users that log in with Single Sign-On (SSO) should contact their organization administrator before deleting their personal data and account.
</Warning>

To permanently remove your personal data:

1. Go to the [Anaconda Privacy Center](https://legal.anaconda.com/policies/en/?modal=take-control).
2. Click **Delete All My Data**.
3. Enter your account's associated email address and click *Send Email*.
4. Use the link in the email you receive to log in to the Anaconda Privacy Center.
5. Click **Confirm Request** to request that your personal data be deleted.

## Deleting your account
