The deadline for talk and tutorial proposals for PyData Silicon Valley 2013 is one week away!

We have received many great submissionsand we’re excited to begin finalizing what promises to be an incredible conference schedule. This time around, we’d like to increase the representation of female coders, analysts, and data scientists in our speaker lineup. If you are a woman working with Python in any of these capacities, we urge you to submit a proposal, or get in touch to bounce talk ideas off of us.

We are thrilled to have two talented researchers who have both made significant contributions to the Python data community as our keynote speakers for PyData SV 2013. Peter Norvig, the Director of Research at Google, and Fernando Perez, a research scientist at the Helen Wills Neuroscience Institute at U.C. Berkeley will be delivering the keynote presentations.

Make sure you don’t miss out on the keynotes or any of the other great talks, tutorials, workshops and panels at PyData. You can still register now at the early bird rates!
