AUSTIN, TX. – September 1, 2015 – Continuum Analytics,​ which d​evelops Anaconda, the leading modern open source analytics platform powered by Python, has announced significant year­-over­-year company growth, including 50 new hires, including Michele Chambers as CMO and Randy Russell as CFO. With more than 200 of the Fortune 500 as customers, and 100% revenue growth year­-over­-year, Continuum Analytics is positioned for record momentum in 2015.

Chambers and Russell build upon an already eminent executive team that are thought leaders and visionaries in the open source Python community. An entrepreneurial executive with over 25 years of industry experience, Chambers has h​eld executive leadership roles at database and analytic companies including IBM, Netezza, Revolution Analytics, MemSQL and RapidMiner. She has published two books on big data and modern analytics, and holds an M.B.A. from Duke University.

Russell has more than two decades of experience in corporate executive roles. Previous roles include CFO of Haas Outdoors, home of the “Mossy Oak” brand, SVP of Financial Services at ePartners, and founder/CEO of 121 Micro, a​n award­winning consulting firm specializing in business process, accounting technology and custom business software applications. Russell holds a BA in Professional Accountancy from the University of Southern Mississippi.
